The Black Pullet, or the Hen with the Golden Eggs, followed by The Black Owl: A new translation and the definitive expanded edition.

The Black Pullet is a grimoire that offers the ancient science of Talismans and Magic Rings, including the Art of Necromancy and of the Cabala, to conjure Aerial and Infernal Spirits, to acquire knowledge of the secret sciences; to discover treasures, and obtain the power to command all beings, and to thwart all malefices and spells.

Dating from the 18th century and attributed to an anonymous French officer who served in Napoleon’s army, the text takes the form of a narrative and recounts how to obtain the magical teachings of ancient Manuscripts, Images, and Cabalistic Seals.

This work is part of the Yellow Library, which will gather the most important Grimoires of the Occult.

Demonstrating remarkable editorial work, all images, seals, and characters have been entirely retraced. No scans were used; all texts have been carefully transcribed. No spelling corrections have been made to give the reader a complete, authentic experience.
